pull mode (n.) – a type of communication where the receiving computer initiates the connection
ring main (n.) – the main electrical supply circuit in a building
stealth virus (n.) – a type of virus that hides itself making it hard to detect
terabyte (n.) – a unit of storage capacity equal to 1 099 511 627 776 bits
upstream (n.) – the signal path for receiving communications from a client computer to a server in a
network
verify (v.) – to check for accuracy
WAV (n.) – an audio file format
XML (n.) – abbreviation for extensible markup language
